As a child I remember Mrs. Walker as someone who wasn’t afraid of anything, someone who would take charge and get things done. From lining up us kids to haul firewood, move picnic tables or form a talent show. She could hold her own with anyone debating politics or anything and be able to back up her point with facts. Feisty and fearless, loving and determined, compassionate and empathetic. A great listener, just waiting for her chance to voice her opinion. The world was better with her in it. Knowing her made me a better person. The greatest gift of all. I lovingly remember her. Roy Jenkins

We met Beverly when she toured Talamore and her amazing smile drew me in from that day on. My mom was lucky enough to live across the hall from her and shared many meals and laughs with Bev. We enjoyed our visits with her. Beverly was a special lady and we are so blessed to have gotten to know her even for only a short time. Vicky, and Dennis, as you travel through the grief of losing your mom, enjoy the memories to help you with that grief. I will always remember that smile of hers.

Bev was my Mom’s best friend and I will always remember her as joyful, generous, compassionate, hilarious, fun, great mother & wife, kind and a brilliant spirit making the world a better place. Love and tender hugs to her children and all who love her.

My sincere condolences are extended to Beverly’s loving family. Her passing is a great loss. I knew Beverly through my husband, Roy Jenkins, as his family and Beverly’s family enjoyed camping trips at Willow Mill Campground in Rio, WI. They still speak fondly of those precious memories. I had the honor of meeting Beverly when she and son Dennis attended our wedding all the way in NW Indiana. We also met up at Willow Mill Campground one Fourth of July. Although we only enjoyed each other’s company a handful of times, I feel like I knew Beverly so much longer from all of the stories Roy and his mother Shirley would share over the years. They loved her so very much! She was a true friend and a pleasure to have known. May Beverly rest in peace and may her family find comfort in her beautiful memory.
