Obituary
MADISON - Carrie Maree Weadge, age 50, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on April 21, 1974, in Lancaster, the daughter of Douglas and Paula (Linscheid) Weadge.
Carrie graduated from Boscobel High School in 1992 and from the University Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1996, with a bachelor’s degree in human resources.
Carrie was a very kindhearted and compassionate person. She had a great laugh and a beautiful smile. Carrie was a fighter. She beat cancer in the ‘90s and fought every day since. She was determined to remain independent. Carrie loved spending time with her family and enjoyed gambling with her dad. She liked scratching lottery tickets, bowling and was an avid fan of reality tv and the Badgers, Packers and Brewers. She loved the adventures of garage saling and was always excited with her finds.
Carrie is survived by her father, Douglas; sisters, Laura (John) Rosol and Kristen (Ron) Bolden; brother, Troy (Angela) Weadge; nieces, Rhiannyn, Makenzie and Jenna; nephews, Lucas and Owen; aunts, uncles, cousins, friends; and her best friend, Kayla Clark. She was preceded in death by her mother, Paula; as well as her maternal and paternal grandparents.
A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2025. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. Family and friends are encouraged to wear their favorite Badgers, Packers or Brewers gear to honor Carrie.
Memorials will be used for a future scholarship to be established in Carrie’s name.
