I worked with Jean at Kopke’s during the wonderful years of the “basket ladies”, Lorraine Kopke, Arlene Spink and Jean created beautiful baskets. Jean and I shared two passions gardening and dogs. I still have something she made for me on my wall. I wish we hadn’t lost touch when she moved to Richland Center. Gail Aaroen

Dear Friend, We planted flowers and shared recipes. We cried over critters and planted trees. Your absence . . . Has brought . . . Me to my knees . . . Which, is just the place to be! For me to plant, for all of us, More flowers and more trees! Composed 2024, Christmas Eve. Mary Burbach

Jean was an awesome friend ❤️. We met Jean & John in NAVHDA. We ended up good friends & spent many days together at our cottage in Crivitz. Many good bird hunts with them. She also was a great artist. She made all of those painting for us that hang now in our retirement home in Crivitz. I will miss her dearly! But now John, Tom & her can all hunt together again in heaven 👼🏻

In memory of our friendship with Jean when we all lived in the Oregon neighborhood. So many fun times playing softball and at "the pond." Loved her
