Obituary

MADISON - Donald W. Krugman, age 78, of Marshall, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. He was born on February 19, 1948, in Baraboo, the son of Gary and Evelyn (Baumgarten) Krugman.

Don graduated from La Follette High School in 1966. He married Bonnie (Mewis) Krugman on June 12, 1971, in London, Wis. Don and Bonnie raised their two sons in Deansville, Wis., while he worked at GE Healthcare over 30 years.

Don enjoyed fishing year-round, especially ice fishing, and had a passion for antiquing, and garage sales. He rarely missed the opportunity to attend his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events. He was an avid fan of the Badgers and Brewers, often relaxing with a cooler of Diet Coke nearby. Don enjoyed riding motorcycles, reading Western novels, attending softball tournaments and playing dartball for Lakeview Moravian Church for many years.

Don is survived by his wife, Bonnie of almost 55 years; two sons, Ty (Brenda) Krugman and their children, Jack and Alex; and Reed (Melissa) Krugman and their children, Linkoln, Paxton and Ruby; brothers, John (Becky), Jim (Jeri); and brother-in-law, Gary.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Gary and Evelyn; and sister, Cyndy.
