I am so very sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. He was a bright spot at the airport for the 18 years that I worked at DCRA. He always had a smile and was willing to share insight or answer military life questions.

I first got to know Dave Jensen back in 1972 when we were on the same Monona little league baseball team coached by his late father, Bud. Great memories. Dave was a terrific guy who all through school and growing up always had a smile and said, "hi".

I was saddened to read of Dave’s passing. He was a friend of my late husband, Don Heiliger. Don knew him through the Fighter Wing and Airport Commission and always thought so highly of him. I was happy to meet Dave and Susan and remember enjoying a Christmas pageant at the Capitol with them and their family. Blessed be Dave’s memory!

I knew Dave in high school. Class of 76. What a kind, thoughtful and honorable guy. I am fortunate to have known him. He took me to a Carpenters concert after graduation. They were one of my favorite musicians at the time. What a pleasant memory from that time which is so long ago. My deepest sympathy to his entire family. Susan Stiemke Quinnell
