Richard Dean Basting

I can remember when I was maybe 5 yrs old and Gramma wanted some worm for fishing,I was staying out at the farm and grampa wanted Richard to plow a field,I stood on the floor of the tractor and Richard helped me steer the tractor till we got to a spot and Richard said here is the spot for worms, put me on the ground with a bucket and got a lot of worms for Gramma

Had the privilege of working with Richard as a clerk at the old PO on Monona Ave. Thoughts and prayers are sent to Richard's family.
