Obituary
EVANSVILLE - Dale R. Rogers, age 68, of Evansville, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at UW Hospital and Clinics. He was born on December 8, 1955, in Madison, Wis., the son of Robert and Dorothy (McKeown) Rogers.
Dale proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force towards the end of the Vietnam War. When he returned home, he found work as an auto mechanic. In his free time, he enjoyed working with his hands, working on cars, especially tinkering with any type of engine. He also enjoyed camping, which often involved riding four-wheelers. He was a fan of Dale Earnhardt and all things NASCAR. He also enjoyed playing, coaching and watching his kids play hockey. He especially loved to watch the Avalanche and the Red Wings play. For relaxation, he liked fishing in the local Wisconsin rivers and ponds. Above all, Dale adored his children, grandchildren and his pup, Rowdy.
Dale is survived by his children, Tina (Jennifer Frisch) Rogers-Frisch, Brian (fiancée, Samantha Jones) Rogers and Bonnie (Zachary) Guerin and their mother, Mary Lou Rogers; grandchildren, Ethan (Maggie) Carlson, Addison, and Nathan Rogers; siblings, Cindy (Bob) Bakken, Dennis (Diana) Rogers, John Rogers, Brenda Ruhland and James "Jim” Rogers; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Rogers; mother, Dorothy Scott; and brother, Timothy Rogers.
A celebration of life will be held at THE MAIN STREET MUSIC HALL, 102 W. Main St., Brooklyn, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 8, 2024.
