EDGERTON - Todd Alan “TJ” Johnson, age 65, of Edgerton, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Edgerton Hospital. Todd was born on February 18, 1959, in Monona, Wis., to Jerry and Harriet Johnson. He graduated from Queen of Apostles in 1977 and was connected with the Monona Grove Class of 1977 as well.
Todd was many things in life. A passionate and lifelong fan of the Minnesota Vikings, Todd was known for his love of sports and his unwavering support of his team through every season. His dedication to his family was just as strong. On March 6, 1997, he welcomed his greatest joy, his daughter, Andrea, into the world. One of the most cherished roles in Todd’s life was becoming a grandpa. On October 9, 2021, his family welcomed Ophelia. He has another granddaughter on the way, due in March, that he was excited to meet. The joy and pride he felt in this role was unmatched, and his time spent with his granddaughter brought him boundless happiness.
Todd was the life of the party, always making those around him laugh and ensuring that everyone had a good time. He had a sharp sense of humor and a well-known love for a good drink, which kept his friends and family on their toes. Whether cracking a witty comment or delivering a perfectly timed joke, Todd's humor was a key part of who he was. His ability to bring joy and laughter was unmatched, and gatherings were never the same without him.
He is survived by his daughter, Andrea (Mark) Klubertanz; his granddaughter, Ophelia; his life partner, Kathy Holland; brother, Kim Johnson, nieces, Sue and Stacee Johnson; and many other dear friends and family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Harriet; his father, Jerry; his Aunt Sis; and his grandparents and other beloved family members. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
