MCFARLAND - Judith Ann Domenget, age 82, of McFarland, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born on November 4, 1942, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Clifford and Edna (Reinhardt) Sampson.
Judith graduated from St. Mary's Springs High School. She was united in marriage to Richard Domenget in 1961 in Fond du Lac. She worked alongside Dick and her family at their family-owned restaurant, The Pizza Oven, for 43 years.
Judith was a selfless woman with a deep faith. She opened her home to anyone that needed help and over the years took care of many people in her own home and also assisted individuals receiving hospice care in their own homes. Judith was a wonderful cook and enjoyed baking and decorating cakes. She loved sewing and had many friends who shared this same passion with her.
Judith is survived by her husband, Richard; daughters, Jodi (Curt) Vitcenda, Dawn Sordahl and Shannon Sampson; son, Dean (Gianna Showers) Domenget; five granddaughters, Amanda (Juan Pablo) Munoz, Emily (Dustin) Fossell, Syh (Grant Maki) Kitts, Jordan Menyfield and Lynsea Southwick; three grandsons, Richard Domenget, Mitchell Southwick and Jayden Menyfield; great-grandson, Ivar Fossell; sister, Kathleen (Edward) Stadtmueller; and brothers, Duwayne (Deborah) Sampson and Pat (Lupe) Sampson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edna and Clifford.
A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
