STOUGHTON - Robin Alan “Rob” Rowe, age 72, of Stoughton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 11, 2024, at his home. He was born on August 25, 1952, in Madison, the son of Robert and Virginia (Wills) Rowe.
Rob graduated from LaFollette High School in 1970. He then enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps (70-71) and was a door gunner on a Huey in Vietnam. He married Carolyn Blilie on October 8, 1983, in Madison. He was currently working as a part time delivery driver at Advance Auto in Fitchburg. Rob was a member of the National Rifle Association. He loved shooting at the gun range, fishing, and watching football, especially the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers. He and his wife, Carolyn, just returned from the Apostle Islands, where they celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary.
Rob is survived by his wife, Carolyn; sons, Tyler (Amanda) Rowe and Dane (Jamie) Rowe; grandchildren, Emma, Ella (Tyler), Liam, Gavin, and Leif (Dane); sisters, Cheryl (Fred) Rowe, Cyndi (Rick) Williams, and Wendy (Denette Danielson) Rowe; and mother-in-law, Lois Blilie. He was preceded in death by his parents; and father-in-law, Robert Blilie.
