Obituary
MOUNT HOREB - Vikki Lyn Trainor, age 74, of Mount Horeb, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. She was born on October 27, 1949, in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Bernard and Jean (Greve) Trainor.
Vikki graduated from Mount Horeb High School in 1967. She worked in the Madison area for many years, finally retiring in 2016.
One of her hobbies was going antiquing and bringing home various pieces of furniture to be refinished. Another was her home which she took great pride in. But what she enjoyed most was simply spending time with her family. From traveling to North Carolina to see her nephew, going up to Eau Claire to visit with her niece and family, to simple cookouts and get-togethers on holidays.
Vikki is survived by her sister, Terri Sutter; niece, Dena (Ryan) Long; nephew, Nathan Sutter; and great-nieces, Rylie and Ava Long. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Jean Trainor.
A celebration of life will be held at GUNDERSON CAMACHO MOUNT HOREB FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 500 N. Eighth St., Mount Horeb, at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday. Burial will take place at Vermont Lutheran Church Cemetery at a later date.
