Deborah L. Florin

OREGON - Deborah Lynn "Debby" Florin, age 66, of Oregon, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024. She was born on November 1, 1957, in Madison, the daughter of David and Virginia (Brown) Dillman.

Debby graduated from Oregon High School in 1976. She married Barry Florin on August 25, 1979, in Madison, Wisconsin. She was employed at the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority for many years. She also worked as a Deputy Warden’s Secretary at Oakhill Correctional Facility until her retirement.

Debby enjoyed camping with her loved ones through the years and was always ready to share a story about something that happened "at the campground." She was always excited to try out new kitchen gadgets and new recipes; especially when it meant she could get her family together to try it with her. She had a love for animals and cared for many beloved cats and dogs throughout her life.

Debby is survived by her sister, Laurie Deglau; brothers, Donald Dillman, Douglas "Arlo" (Patricia "Pug") Dillman and David (Kay) Dillman; sister-in-law, Donna Dillman; niece, Amanda (fiancé, Caeleb) Deglau; grandchildren, Aiden Florin and Ariana Florin; boyfriend, Daniel Rooney DeNomie, five step-children, many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Virginia Dillman; husband, Barry Florin; sister, Barbara Jean Reimann; brother, Brian Dillman; sister-in-law, Margaret "Peggy" Dillman.

A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1358 Highway 51 N. at Jackson St., Stoughton, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Annette L. Haak presiding. A private burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park.
