So very sad to hear of Carlas passing. Sending our heartfelt sympathy, love & light to all those who loved her! Especially thinking of you Shorty, Tracy, & Tony and your families too. Lots of treasured memories together growing up! 🥰 One of my favorite memories of Carla was when she presented the coolest scrap book to my Dad on his birthday or retirement. Her presentation was soooo dang hilarious she had us crying in laughter!! So talented. She will be dearly missed. I’m so sorry. Hugs to all of you! 🙏😢🥰

I will miss my friend. When I think of Carla, the true meaning of a friend comes to me. I always knew she would be there. When I was in rehab this past April she came to visit me, I will treasure that visit. Rest in peace, my friend.

I knew Carla from both the UW Art Department and MATC. Carla was always a lovely and delightful presence in atmospheres that did not always deserve her cheery optimism and grace.She gave hope to frustrated and despondent students the UW and was a constant ray of luminescence and laughter at MATC. Just a wonderful and cherished woman. A great loss for her family and her community.
