BLACK EARTH - Donna Rae Connor, age 67, of Black Earth, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Meriter Hospital after battling many health complications.

Donna graduated from Wisconsin Heights High School, with the class of 1975. Shortly after graduation she began working for Dane County in a variety of offices. Donna was an avid flower gardener. She also enjoyed cheering on the Mazo Mustang home talent, multiple Badgers sports, the Packers and Brewers. She loved spending time in the Northwoods, especially at her house on Lake Butte des Morts, the Connor Family cabin on Long Lake, or anywhere near water where she could kayak or simply float. What Donna loved most was spending time with her family and friends.  She also adored her canine companions, Stewie and Remy.  Donna had a remarkable sense of humor. She had a unique ability to bring laughter to even the simplest moments, brightening the lives of everyone around her.

Greg and Luke you have my deepest sympathy. Donna will surely be missed. She had a great sense of humor, we all had fun when vacationing at the cabin. She was a great mom to you guys, she'll be missed. Keep a smile on your face! Just like your mom. Butch

To my nephews Luke and Greg I send love and sympathy. Losing a parent is just plain hard. I will always remember how kind and supportive your mother was to your Aunt Cathy. With love, Aunt Mary

I worked with Donna for 10 years in the Black Earth office of Dane County Human Services from 1976-86. She was a valued member of a team who worked, ate, and played together. We shared personal and family events and happenings. I very much enjoyed the few encounters we had in the following years. I always had warm and positive memories of those times. I extend my condolences to those many who will miss her presence.
