STOUGHTON - Matt G. Mensching, age 58, of Stoughton, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024. He was born on March 16, 1966, in Merrill, the son of Leonard and Elaine (Geils) Mensching.
Matt graduated from Merrill High School. He was employed as a truck driver for his entire working career. Matt enjoyed gambling, playing cribbage and horseshoes, and cheering on the Packers. He was always a good friend to everyone.
Matt will be missed by his brothers, Mark (Dawn Osness) Mensching and Mike Mensching; nieces, Krista (Scott) Ward and Jennifer Hanson; great-nieces, Elizabeth Ward, Cali Hanson and Krystine Mensching; and great-nephew, Cole Hanson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Elaine Mensching.
A celebration of life will be held at OREGON BOWL, 214 Spring St., Oregon, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024.
