Obituary

NEW GLARUS - Robert James Warren, age 78, of New Glarus, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at New Glarus Home. He was born on June 2, 1947, in Madison, the son of Robert and Betty (Kramer) Warren.

Robert graduated from Madison East High School in 1965. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Robert was a sheet metal worker for Warren Heating and he also managed a service station. Robert enjoyed reading, practicing yoga, riding motorcycles and his two pet cats.

Robert is survived by his two sisters, Judy (Art) Cresson and Bonnie Lynn Warren; brother, William (Sandy Black) Warren; friend, Lila (Jim Franke) Walters; and eight nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Betty Warren.

The family is grateful for the kindness and loving care provided to Robert while he lived at New Glarus Home.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park, 401 Femrite Drive, Monona, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025.

Robert J Warren: We grew up together and were a few months older, but we enjoyed a friendship like no other, we enjoyed Eken Park which was only a block away for us, I learned a lot from Bob and we always had a good time when ever we got together... Robert will be missed dearly. God Bless You Mr Warren and be seeing you again in the next part of our Journey :~)
