Obituary
MADISON - Dichelle Lorraine Gundlach, passed away of natural causes at the age of 62, and was laid to rest at a private funeral on Sept. 4, 2024.
Dichelle was born in Madison, Wis. on Jan. 11, 1962. She was the second oldest of six kids and was raised on the family farm in Fitchburg, Wis. She graduated from Oregon High School, attended MATC-Madison then joined the Navy, where she was stationed in the Philippines. She returned home and ultimately started her 25+ year career in retail.
Dichelle was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder in her 20s; however, this did not define her. Her “full of life,” “wild spirit” and “sweet, gentle soul” defined her, along with her faith, community and her love for her family and pets.
Dichelle is pre-deceased by her parents, Tom and Sue; her cat Maxie; and her fish Blue. She is survived by her siblings, Steve (Jill) Gundlach, Lisa (Ron) Gundlach, Dave (Lisa) Gundlach, Tracy (JR) Szabo and Shannon (Scott) Davison; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
