STOUGHTON - Kaitlin Ann “Katie” Julson, age 29, of Stoughton, passed away on Friday, Aug. 23, 2024. She was born on June 19, 1995, in Madison, the daughter of Timothy and Lori (Tonar) Julson.

Katie graduated from Stoughton High School in 2013. She worked at R.G. Huston before joining Alliant Energy as a utility worker. She will be fondly remembered for her love of life and vibrant personality. She was kind and a dear friend to many. Katie had an adventurous spirit and brought so much joy to those around her. Her infectious laughter and smile would light up any dimly lit room.

Katie was an active member of the Stoughton Conservation Club. She enjoyed participating in truck pulls, riding ATVs, snowmobiling, hunting, boating and riding motorcycles. Most importantly, she loved her daughter Aspen, and spending time with her.

Katie will be deeply missed by her family and friends and her void will be felt by all who knew her. Survivors include her daughter, Aspen Morand; parents, Tim and Lori; sister, Ashley (Jeremy Kruk) Julson; brother, Andrew (Maggie Carsello) Julson; niece, Adley Kruk; nephew, Decker Kruk; and many aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Henry and Constance Tonar; paternal grandparents, Jay and Bonnie Julson; and cousin, Jason Grosse.

A memorial gathering will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1358 Highway 51 N. at Jackson St., Stoughton, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024. Friends are encouraged to bring along a favorite photo or two of Katie to place on a photo board the family will keep in remembrance of her. A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
