WAUNAKEE - Jennifer MacIntyre (born Gail Miller), age 66, of Waunakee, passed away on Monday, Aug. 26, 2024, at UW Hospital and Clinics. She was born on April 2, 1958, in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Glenn E. Miller and Val (Gulseth) Koehler. When she was born, Mom had to drive home in the worst snowstorm, and walk from the car to the house through the snow with her newborn.
Jennifer grew up in Jefferson, Lake Mills and Madison, and graduated from Madison East High School in 1976. Her family will remember her for her big heart. She always cared for others, but could be firm with people when she needed to be. Jennifer inspired her family with her perseverance through her long-term illness.
Jennifer is survived by her mother, Val; sisters, Diann and Denise; brother, Gene; sister-in-law, Karen; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carla; father, Glenn; and brother, Gary.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
