Obituary
LODI - Louise Frances Harris, age 98, of Lodi, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Our House Senior Living-Lodi. She was born on October 16, 1927, in Oak Park, Ill., the daughter of Francis Suter and Louise (Bodenberger) Suter.
Louise graduated from Bensenville High School in Illinois in 1945. She was united in marriage to Albert Harris on July 10, 1946, in Bensenville, Ill.
Louise devoted many years to serving others as a special education aide, bringing compassion, patience and kindness to her work. Louise’s faith was an important part of her life. She was a devoted member of her church community, where she participated in the choir and served as a Eucharistic minister. She enjoyed an active life and treasured the friendships she formed through her bridge club. She also enjoyed quilting and playing golf. Above all, Louise was devoted to her family. She dedicated her life to raising her 11 children and took great pride in creating a warm, loving and supportive home for her family.
Louise is survived by her children, John (Carol Sipiera) Harris, Thomas "Tom" (Doris) Harris, Robert (Mary) Harris, Charles (Gaye) Harris, David Harris, Richard (Lauri) Harris, James Harris, Katherine (John Storniolo) Harris, Mary (Tom) Harris- Law and Jane (Greg) Rejnert. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Harris; son, Stephen Harris; parents, Louise and Francis Suter; brother, Richard Suter; and sister, Barbara Ramirez.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST MAXIMILIAN KOLBE PARISH AT ST PATRICK CATHOLIC CHURCH, 521 Fair St., Lodi, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2026, with Fr. Simon Tipps presiding. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the mass on Saturday.
