Obituary
STOUGHTON / TOKEN CREEK - Susan Jeanne Bellefeuille, age 74, of Stoughton, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on Nov. 3, 1949, in Chicago, Ill., to Edward and Janice (Barnes) Davison. Susan graduated from Monona Grove High School in 1967. After high school, she married her husband, Craig, and together they had two children, Ron and Scott.
Susan retired from American Family Insurance after 25+ years of working for the company in various roles. In her spare time, she enjoyed all kinds of crafts and sewing, and was also a member of a women’s group that sewed pillowcases for the American Family Children’s Hospital. Sue and Craig loved taking their camper to different places with their friends, their huge backyard garden, and watching hummingbirds in their backyard. But her true love was being with family and close friends. She was most proud of her five grandchildren and would share that any chance she could. She cherished the annual Christmas cookie making day each year with them.
Susan fought breast cancer in 2012 and again starting in 2021; she fought it with grace, positivity, and bravery. Her friends and family will miss her smile and infectious laugh.
Susan is survived by her two sons, Ron Bellefeuille and Scott (Tracy) Bellefeuille; grandchildren, Bryce Bellefeuille, Riley (Alex Romeo), Jacey Bellefeuille, Drew (Alex) Bellefeuille and Paige Bellefeuille; great-grandson, Leo Romeo; sisters; Joan Cardarella, Jill Arps, Ann Davison and Jean Davison Gindreau; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Craig Bellefeuille; and brother-in-law, Steve Cardarella.
A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL AND CREMTION CARE, 1358 Highway 51 N. @ Jackson St., Stoughton, at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 22, 2024, with the Rev. John Berg presiding. A luncheon will follow the memorial service at Halverson’s Everything Nice, 1965 Barber Drive, Stoughton. Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
