It was my privilege to meet and visit with Bob in the last few days of his life. What a kind and gentle soul. Share memories often with family and friends; he is in your hearts.

My cousin, Bob, and I were only a couple months apart in age. We were fortunate to grow up in Kittleson Valley; so many memories. We went to school together, we played at each other's house together, I was honored to be in Bob and Barb's wedding. Peace and Love to you, Elizabeth

Certainly enjoyed knowing Bob and having him as an employee. He was an asset to our trucking company and his farm patrons also appreciated him.

Robert was such a nice cousin to have. As a young child, I so looked forward to going to Great-Grandma Kittleson's house at Christmas time and at other family gatherings when the whole Kittleson extended clan would get together and spend the evening or day visiting, sharing, laughing and playing music together. When Bob and Barb would come, I always felt that the gang was all there, and it was a wonderful sense of true belonging and joy. Us kids would play with Great-Grandma Stella's beautiful, cat-eye marbles on the floor, my Grandma Lillian Ula's brothers, Stanley and Everett would get out their accordian and fiddle, and sometimes others would break out in song to the old Norwegian folk music tunes, and all seemed right with the world. Of course we ate lots of food - real good, Norwegian-leaning, home-cooked, delicious food! Bob was such a quiet man and never drew attention to himself. That is what I liked about him the most. His natural aura, with that big, quiet smile, spoke of pure human decency, along with a touch of sadness and sensitivity, surrounded him. His presence called me somehow, and I was glad we were related. We never spoke much. He was a bit older than me, and we probably didn't know what to really say to each other. But we always greeted each other with a "Hi" and shared genuine smiles while doing so., That meant the world to me as a child, and it continued to do so into adulthood. The last time I saw Bob was at my Grandma's funeral. That was several years ago, but I will never forget that meeting. We greeted each other with our familiar "Hi, Bob." - "Hi, Carol." greetings, and we gave each other our big smiles and twinkling, caring light-blue eyes, I was proud to be Bob's cousin, and I was so glad he came to serve as one Grandma's pallbearers along with Grandma's other wonderful nephews. Robert was a very special person. My concolences to Barb, Steven and Shelly, and all of Bob and Barb's extended families for their great loss. Rest in peace, Robert, and thank you for acknowledging my presence each and every time we met. It meant so much to me. I will miss you being in this world.
