Obituary

LODI - Brenda J. Modrak, age 68, of Lodi, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, July 8, 2024. She was born on Feb. 1, 1956, in Milwaukee, Wis., the daughter of Boyd and Beverly (Haugen) Trygstad.

Brenda graduated from Pulaski High School in Milwaukee in 1973 and went on to attend Milwaukee Area Technical College. She worked as an administrative assistant for Pyramax and at Wisconsin Electric. In her free time, Brenda was an avid reader; you could always find her with a good book and her kitty cat, Griselda, on her lap. When she wasn’t reading, she enjoyed watching a horror movie or listening to live music. But above all, her first love was her family, who she cherished her time with and were her very best friends.

Brenda is survived by her son, Vincent (Lisa) Modrak; daughter, Alison (Robert) Villa; grandchildren, Harper Modrak and Brooke Modrak; mother, Beverly Trygstad; and sisters, Bonnie (David) Colorez, Barbara (Daniel) Gibson and Belinda (Byron Olson) Trygstad. She was preceded in death by her father, Boyd Burton Trygstad.

A celebration of life will be held at WADDLE INN, N1430 Highway 113, Lodi, officially from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2024, but guests may stay as long as they like.
