My husband Ron and I met Larry and Roberta when we were all campers at shell creek in punta gorda, Florida. Ron and Larry were both in wheel chairs, and were an inspiration to many in the park. Our sympathies to the entire family.

While in college with Steve, I was fortunate enough to get to know Larry because he and Roberta were very active in Steve's life. I remember how committed to his children and Roberta he was, the love was always evident. I also remember fondly his great sense of humor. Once in the dorms, Steve's roommate was arrested for throwing snowballs and it made the Madison paper. That morning Larry call Steve's room and said, Good Morning, How is the jailbird doing - not realizing that the roommate had answered the phone. Larry made life fun and I am grateful for having the chance to know him over the years. - Tom Gould
