Obituary

WAUNAKEE - Daniel L. Bohnsack, age 64, of Waunakee, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. He was born on Nov. 13, 1959, in Madison, the son of Donald and Roberta (Cullen) Bohnsack.


Daniel’s vocal and musical talent was extraordinary. He sang and played guitar, joined a band in his younger years and later on joined his lifelong friends in their musical hobbies. In addition, he was an avid bowler, golfer and was a diehard Packers fan.


Daniel graduated from Monona Grove High School in 1978.  He worked as a Process Operator for Scientific Protein Laboratory, for the past 18 years.


Daniel is survived by his three daughters, Jenna (Mike), Nicole (Kevin) and Michaela; one grandchild, Walter; a mother, Roberta; sister, Donna (Louie) Klanchich; aunt, GeNeal (Ron) Humphrey; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald.

Haven't seen dan for awhile but we had alot of fun playing in bustn loose band he was always fun to be around with jam on will see you again 😞

So many memories how our younger days were filled with laughter and music. Danny was a great friend. Awesome musician. I remember going to gigs with him in the middle of winter. Our folks would pack up their trucks and trailers and get our equipment to the bar We were playing that night. Very fortunate.
