I met Harlan for the first time when I was elected to the Arlington Mutual Insurance board in 2014. It was evident he wanted to do what was best for the company and its policy holders. Harlan was always willing to make the tough decisions and at the same time lower the tension in the room with his smile and witty sense of humor. When we served as President and Vice President, that partnership only strengthened our friendship. His love of faith, family and friends was paramount in his life. We lost a good man. Condolences to you Beth and your entire family. Kurt Breunig

I met Harlan and Beth when I worked at Hart and Olson dentistry back in the 90s until now. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his sudden passing. I always enjoyed chatting with him , he always had a comeback for everything! Beth- I am so sorry . He will truly be missed. Connie Frain

Whenever Harlan would stop at FS, I always wanted to chat with him and hear what he had to say. He cared about people that he maybe only had ever met a few times. He was always there for a new perspective…..and laugh along the way.
