Tommy Yerr Voung

DEFOREST - Tommy Yerr Voung, age 42, of De Forest, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024, at UW Hospital and Clinics surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on Oct. 3, 1981, in Fort Atkinson, Wis., the son of Pang Ying and Vanh Voung.

Tommy graduated from MATC with an associate degree in computer science and worked in IT-information technology as a computer programmer. He loved spending time with family and friends, as well as camping and fishing. Tommy also enjoyed coaching and playing volleyball.

Tommy is survived by eight brothers; two sisters, 14 nephews; 16 nieces; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1150 Park St., Oregon, at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday, and also from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2024. Burial will take place at HIGHLAND MEMORY GARDENS, 3054 County Highway BB, Cottage Grove, at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
