Fly High, Uncle Al. I Hope you will let us know if Angel Wings are better than Air Plane Wings. Tell some funny family Stories to those stuffy old Angels, make them laugh those Halos off.

I remember going to their cabin all the time when I live up in Oxford. For awhile they would call me one of their grandsons because I came around so much. Allen taught me so much and was truly an inspiration for many. I’ll never forget when he taught me a valuable lesson about doing the dishes; he told me to hold out my hands - I did - then he proceeded to pour cereal in them and then the milk. I said what’s going on? He said well if you don’t have a clean dish then how will you eat. We both laughed and I knew then and there to help. ( I may not have but it was a good lesson). I remember also helping Sam and Allen with the airplane; putting the screws in the wings and stripping the paint. Allen was always working in the garage on something. I miss those good ol days but he will absolutely never be forgotten and always missed. Thank you for teaching me some valuable lessons in life Allen and thank you for the memories - rest in paradise - Terrance ( little terry)

I was about 14 or 15 and he took me up in his plane then cut the engine said it died. I laughed. He got serious said he couldn't start it but somehow I knew he was playing. He of course got it running and we both laughed. As a kid and an adult I loved his Donald Duck impersination. Always had kind words and wisdom. I will truly Miss you Uncle Allen Love Tammy
