Growing up we were a close family, my parents and 2 sisters. My eldest sister Jan is 8 years older than me and Diane was 5 years older. It was Diane's job to "watch" me after school and she also did the cooking for the dinner meal as both of our parents worked. She cooked me meals, made me dust (which I hated and still do to this day) gave me advice and mostly always listened when I needed an ear. I loved my sisters both and even as we grew older and our lives diverged we always got together on birthdays, holidays and other special occasions. We often spoke on the phone to catch up with each other and her journey was our journey too. I will deeply miss my sister, we always had each other and when I moved back from Spain, I stayed with her for some months...she was always on the go, never letting anything slow her down for long. I love you Diane and miss you now and forever.
