I learned of Jerry’s passing this morning
at FUS when his named was called on
All Souls’ day. Jerry and I and Neal Steinhoff
and John HIpp had in the late 1960s/early 70s a brief but fun friendship as we reorganized the old Bureau of Engineering in the Dept. of Administration. Jerry stood out as the smart, talented, sensitive guy among us. I recall a great party at his house one evening. We lost track as he moved to DNR and I moved around, but I kept track of his
various promotions. Jerry was a great guy
who made significant contributions to the health and welfare of Wisconsin. Rest in peace, Jerry. - Richard Seaman
