FITCHBURG - John P. Lendborg, age 82, died on May 20, 2024.
John graduated from Madison East High School in 1961. He was employed by UW Hospital and Clinics for over 50 years.
John was preceded in death by his daughter, Serene; parents, Theodore and Jane; brother and sister-in-law, Theodore (Nola); sister and brother-in-law, Janet (John) Krehl; parents-in-law, Alan and Doris Portz; and brother in-law, Anson Russell.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; daughter, Nicole (Christine Haas); Portz family: Eleanor Russell, Rick (Joyce), Rol (Pat), Les (Deb), Herb (Joyce) and Kathy (Jim) Burke; special nieces, Carolyn (Bryan) Steinhorst, and Elenore (Mark) MacKinnis; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
John was an avid Wisconsin sports fan, especially Badgers and Green Bay Packers football.
John has elected not to have an end-of-life service. Instead, he requested to remember the good times shared with him.
