Karen was a such beautiful lady. Her creative talents she shared with so many through RSVP. I picked up and delivered yarn to her for a few years. I am a better person because of her passion for helping others. I am so sorry to hear of her passing.

Karen was such a special, loving woman and I will miss her greatly. She volunteered at RSVP of Dane County for years and years, knitting for those in need. She was artistic and gentle and had a way of making those around her feel incredibly special. I will treasure my memories of Karen. Kate Seal

Planting a tree is an easy choice. Karen was an engaging and loving Lady who enjoyed her gardens at home. She loved her Mini. Godspeed my dear friend.

Karen was a joyful, kind human being. She was always ready with a compliment or encouraging word, or with a handmade donation. Countless people in Dane County have been comforted by her knitted and donated afghans, shawls, and fidget muffs. We feel her loss deeply at RSVP. Karen will be missed!

I am shocked and so sad to see that my friend Karen is gone from us! Jesus needed her and I’m certain Karen is knitting and loving on all the children and dogs in Heaven right now. What a pure soul she was, always calm and always caring. Her voice was like that of an Angel. She loved her family deeply—they were the very core of her existence. This picture is from 26 years ago in Madison. With her darling Kylie❤️ I love you friend—you worked overtime doing the Lord’s work. Time to rest and be with Him now. Xoxo🙏🏼
