Obituary

MADISON - Gary Glenn Miller, age 67, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.  He was born on Sept. 9, 1956, in Lake Mills, the son of Glenn Miller and Val (Gulseth) Koehler. He married Karen Miller on June 21, 2008, in Lake Mills, Wis.

Gary grew up in Lake Mills and Madison. He worked at a marble company, Galar Industries, for over 20 years while owning an apartment complex and taking care of the apartment building. He also enjoyed flower gardening, creating beautiful gardens around his apartment building. Gary was adventurous. In his younger days he enjoyed spending time with his father and grandfather, especially the many hunting and fishing trips with his father. In more recent years, he enjoyed hiking and exploring nature with his wife, Karen.

Gary is survived by his wife, Karen; mother, Val Koehler; sisters, Gail "Jennifer MacIntyre” Miller, Denise Koehler and Diann Koehler; brother, Gene Miller; mother-in-law, Shirley Miller; sisters-in-law, Pam Miller and Mary Miller; and brothers-in-law, Ken (Michele) Miller and Mike (Cindy) Miller. He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn; and father-in-law, Edmund Miller.
