Ric was one of the first people I met when I began working at St. Thomas in Poynette and he was an usher there. Always positive, helpful, kind, and sincere, he was able to make even the best of days that much better just with his presence. My prayers for all of the family and friends who are grieving this loss. Eternal rest grant Ric, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.

It was an honor to know Rick during my years as pastor of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish in Poynette. Rick was a good man. My sympathy to Bonnie and other family members. You and Rick are being remembered in my Masses and other prayers. Fr. Ray Dischler

Rick was such a nice guy. I always enjoyed talking to him at work. He was a patient and thorough trainer when becoming a crew chief. He really cared about the aviation community and I will surely miss him. Rest in peace Rick.

I joined the 1-147th aviation back in 1992. As a non-flying Lieutenant waiting to go to flight school I was always trying to learn more about our aircraft and our mission. Rick was one of the guys that was always willing to share his knowledge and experience. I appreciated his patience, sense of humor, and professionalism. Rick was one of the top crew chiefs in the unit. Very knowledgeable, and always dedicated to improving as a team! It is evident to me that god has another plan for Rick.
