Beth Ann Wright

BLUE MOUNDS - Beth Ann Wright, age 63, of Blue Mounds, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at UW Hospital with her husband at her side. She was born on Sept. 22, 1960, in Madison, the daughter of Glenn and Betsy (Foshe) Thronson.

Beth graduated from Barneveld High School in 1980. She married Edward Wright on April 23, 1994, at Perry Lutheran Church.

Beth worked in the food service industry for more than 30 years, 25 for the Central Wisconsin Center. She was a lifelong member of Perry Lutheran Church. She was also a member of Barber Circle at Perry.

Beth loved baking and crafting, especially knitting and crocheting. She made many things for the church bazaar. Staying in touch with friends and family brought her much joy. Beth was a very caring person who loved her family very much, cats included. She was proud to be a published poet.

Beth is survived by her husband, Edward, and her children, Salem Wright and Clyde Wright; two sisters, Kate (Jeff) Hook and Kirsten (Scott) Mueller; two brothers, Lowell (Tammie) Thronson and John (Amy) Thronson; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Betsy Thronson.

A funeral service will be held at PERRY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1057 WI-78 Trunk, Mount Horeb, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, with Pastor Kelli Fisher presiding. Burial will be held at Perry Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2024, and at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
