Janice L. Johnson

STOUGHTON - Janice Lynn Johnson, age 70, of Stoughton, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024, at SSM Health - St. Mary's Hospital. She was born on July 9, 1953, in Cambridgeshire, England, the daughter of James and Pauline (Pond) Fields.

She was united in marriage to Randy Johnson on December 15, 1973. Throughout the years, they have shared countless unforgettable memories and recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. Their hearts will always have love for one another, and they are the true definition of soulmates.

Janice had a huge heart which was guided by her faith in Jesus. Family was the most important to Janice. She loved caring for her three children, “grandbabies”, brother Dale, mother and beloved yorkies, Pupper and Rufie. She enjoyed camping over the years, especially in the mountains of North Carolina. Flowers of all kinds brought her joy. Some of the most memorable qualities that Janice had was her infectious laughter and true kindness. Janice will always be in our hearts as she watches over us all.

Janice is survived by her husband, Randy; daughters, Carrie (Aaron) Johnson-Erb and Jamie Johnson; son, Shane Johnson; grandsons, Steven, Armon, Mikel, Tyler and Taevon; granddaughters, Danielle and Evelyn; brothers, Gary (Julie) Fields and Larry Fields; sister, Denise Fields; and sisters-in-law, Brenda (Mark) Tincher, Renee Johnson and Rochelle Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Pauline; brother, Dale Fields; and parents-in-law, Gerald (Dorothy) Johnson.

A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1358 Highway 51 N. at Jackson St., Stoughton, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
 

Memorials may be gifted in Janice’s name to Save the Children in Uganda.
