MADISON - Patrick Robert Peschel, age 60, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at UW Hospital and Clinics. He was born on March 21, 1964, in San Diego, Calif., the son of Richard and Lola (Pederson) Peschel.

Patrick graduated from Lafollette High School in 1982 and was proud of his service in the U.S. Army. He married Donna Sue Peschel on June 18, 2002 in Madison. He worked in maintenance for Johnsonville for 18 years and at Bullseye Inc., in Madison and most recently he was happily employed by Lineage Logistics where he has left many great friends and colleagues.

Patrick was incredibly hard working and could fix anything. He loved working on his cars, especially his Corvette. He was a master at fixing pinball machines, so much so that he received the nickname of "Pinball Wizard.” Patrick loved going to the casino and gaming (World of Warcraft) with his wife, Donna Sue. Most of all, he was proud of his role as grandpa.

I remember being at his house and Patrick sitting on the floor with Cameron and they would just build and knock over blocks. he found it so funny to quickly try and build up a Lego tower before Cameron would knock it over just before he could put another piece on top. He is going to be missed 😭😭😭

Patrick started out as my coin operated “fix it” guy over 20 years ago but quickly became a dear friend. He would do anything for anyone and was one of the kindest people I have ever known. He would always entertain my kids when they were little during his visits and my wife loved him too - probably because he always took her side in regards to me having too much stuff with extension cords going everywhere. He probably prevented me from burning down my own house. The world lost a great, one-of-a kind guy and a true treasure. Patrick will be sorely missed and my deepest condolences to Donna Sue and family. - Dennis Lee, Waunakee

May this tree in Patrick's memory be prettier than the pine between our lots! We will miss his funny neighborly conversations and generous spirit.
