Obituary

MADISON- Aaron Clevenger, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2024, at the Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg, Wis., at the age of 51. Born on May 13, 1972, in Findlay, Ohio, Aaron's vibrant spirit and warm heart touched the lives of all who knew him.

Aaron was a proud graduate of Monona Grove High School, class of 1990, and he carried the determination and enthusiasm of his youth throughout his life. He enjoyed almost 20 years of working at J.T. Whitney’s Brew Pub, where he didn’t know yet, but had met his future wife and so many other wonderful people. In 2010, he joined the team at Zimbrick, and excelled in the internet sales department. Known for being a hard worker, Aaron's dedication to his career was no match to the love for his wife, Jackie Oberhauser, and his family and friends.

A true fan at heart, Aaron's passions included the epic tales of Star Wars, the thunderous music of Iron Maiden, and the thrill of attending concerts with his best friend, Jeff. His competitive spirit shone brightly when he played Fantasy Football, and he was a devoted Green Bay Packers supporter, as well as an avid fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and all Wisconsin.  In the past few months, Aaron found joy and companionship with his furry brother-in-law, Marty (loyal canine), who was a true friend always.

Aaron's loving nature was the cornerstone of his life. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jackie Oberhauser-Clevenger; mother, Trudi (DeVaughn) Clevenger; father, Joseph Clevenger; his sibling, B. Clevenger; his mother-in-law, Theresa Oberhauser; his sisters-in-law, Linda (Ron) Moseley and Debbie (Jeff) Olson; and his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and a nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends who will miss his warm and loving presence.

Described by those who knew him as loving, selfless, and spirited, Aaron's legacy is one of kindness, laughter, and an unwavering zest for life. His memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of his loving family and friends. Aaron will be profoundly missed forever.

So many terrific memories of Aaron. Packer games, Brewer games and lamenting the “ups and downs” of the Badgers…As colleagues at work for more than a decade, we shared much laughter and many conversations surrounding sports, building projects and “all things Maiden”. I will remember Aaron’s tenacity, his loyalty, his humor and his heart. I was fortunate to be a part of his large circle and I think of him often. Rest easy my friend. Tim Porter

I've Known Aaron just short of 14 years when we started at Zimbrick Sales BDC on the same day. He has always been there when anyone needed anything and so to Jackie I say, if you need ANYTHING just let me know and I will do what I can to help. He was loved and respected for all the ways he touched all of our lives. I will remember him always.
