I have had Brooke as a guitar student for the past 6 or 7 years. As a student and a musician, she was extremely dedicated, focused, and always willing to try new ideas, chords, songs. She was fearless that way. I don’t think she ever said no to my suggestions regarding music. She truly loved it and she always seemed eager to learn music history. As a person and a friend, Brooke was fun, funny, and tried to be as positive as she could- even when I knew things were weighing her down. She was kind, and very patient (although not so much with herself). She put up with my dad jokes but also wasn’t afraid to tell me that’s enough. Brooke was also a tremendous visual artist. She drew a black and white of my pet dog, Tilly, that captured my pet’s spirit. I love this kid like one of my own and will remember her smile, her laughter, her drive, kindness, and her sense of humor. This leaves a tremendous space in my heart.

Brooke was a student in my freshmen English class and again in my junior English class this year. She was a sweet spirit in our virtual classroom. I enjoyed getting to know her and watching her interact with other students over the last three years. She was kind to others, gentle in responses, and throughtful in her writing. She will be missed in our classroom and school! I will continue praying for your family.

I didn't know Brooke very well but we worked together a lot in small group during school. She was always so kind and had such an amazing personality. She doesn't deserve to leave this world so soon. I pray to see her in heaven some day. I will be one of the many to miss her. I pray for her family everyday. With love, Claire Healy

I didn't know Brooke very well, but I had her in some of our school's small groups together. She has been in many of my classes since middle school. She also thought about the questions differently and went the extra mile when answering them. She will be missed by many people that she interacted with in her life.
