Obituary

BROOKLYN - Margaret “Peggy” Dillman, age 61, died on April 6, 2024, at UW Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. Peggy was born March 5, 1963, the daughter of Arnold and Judy Igl. She married Donald Dillman on Sept. 24, 1983.

Peggy was preceded in death by her sister, Julie; and in-laws, Barbara Reimann, Brian Dillman and Edward Rowe. She is survived by her husband, Donald; their two sons, Benjamin and Brandon; parents, Arnold and Judy; siblings, Pam Rowe, Sue (Mike) Streveler, Rob (Jodi) Igl and Lee (Kristy) Igl; in-laws, David (Kay) Dillman, Douglas (Pug) Dillman, Debra Florin, Laurie Deglau, John Riemann and Donna Dillman; and many nieces and nephews.

Peggy grew up in the Oregon area and attended Oregon High School. She will be remembered as being a wonderful daughter, sister and mother. Her beaming smile was infectious. Her flowing golden hair, and jolly laugh, brought smiles to all. She enjoyed the outdoors and spent many weekends with her family at their cabin up North. Peggy was a stay-at-home mom, and one of her main accomplishments was her strong commitment to caring for her two sons. She was very involved in activities with the Oregon Special Olympics.

I remember Peggy from years at OHS but more recently as a Special Olympic Mom. Always enjoyed visiting with her and Don! I know Brandon is well loved and cared for but my heart breaks a little to think of him without his Mom 💔 Don, I know Ben will be a great support to you and Brandon as you “navigate these unchartered waters”. It is not easy by any stretch but you will make it through one day at a time! You are all in our prayers 🙏
