Obituary
MADISON - Kevin Scott Spaith, age 67, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. He was born on Sept. 30, 1956, in Madison, Wis., the son of Donald Huson and Virginia Louise (Reinholtz) Spaith.
Kevin graduated from East High School in 1974. Kevin met the love of his life Linda (Peterson) Spaith in 1979 and got married on June 12, 1982. Kevin enjoyed working as a storekeeper for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for many years.
In his free time, Kevin liked to hunt and league bowl for many years. He played baseball and basketball when in high school and after. He enjoyed spending time with family and fishing with Bryan. Kevin enjoyed watching Bryan participate in Special Olympic Sports. He loved watching western movies and shows. He never missed a David Muir newscast. He enjoyed watching sports, especially his Wisconsin teams. Kevin liked to go on drives and look for turkeys and deer.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Linda; son, Bryan Spaith; brother, Don (Deb ) Spaith; sister, Gail Healy; sister-in-law, Marcia (Brad) Foglia; and brothers-in-law, Paul (Cris) Peterson, and David (Cari) Peterson and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Virginia; father-in-law, Bill Peterson; and mother-in-law, Nancy Peterson.
A graveside service and luncheon will be held at NATURAL PATH SANCTUARY - FARLEY CENTER, 2299 Spring Rose Road, Verona, beginning at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday May 4, 2024, with the Rev. Steve Wenk presiding.
