Dave and Jane were part of a group of five couples who got together for an evening meal at someones home, every month for over twenty years. We were all from St. Stephens, had similar interests and children of similar ages. In the fall and winter, when he and Jane would host the gathering, Dave would always have a roaring fire going in the fire place. Always good food and conversation. It was special and we all cherished the gatherings.
When I would occasionally join the summer choir at church, I made sure I was standing next to Dave. He had a beautiful voice and it was very easy to follow his lead.
We did many overseas trips together with St. Stephens and also the Friendship Force. His knowledge of the Russian language came in handy on our trip on the Trans Siberian railroad from Vladivostok to Irkutsk and Lake Biakal.
Dave also had a passion for small, fast and sporty cars.
Dave was a quiet, gracious, generous man, a family man who had a deep religious faith. Ken Koscik
