Joe was always such a caring person. He always knew how to make people laugh and have fun. Growing up down the road from Joe and his family, we rode the bus together. I was younger and so I always looked up to Joe. If I feel asleep on the bus ride home he would wake me up before my stop. He would always ask how my day was or make sure no one was picking on me. We joked that he was my big brother on the bus. Even as years passed, when I would randomly bump into him, he would always ask how I was. Joe had a big heart and will be missed. Prayers to all his family.

Joe truly left a mark on my life, starting in early childhood up through adulthood. His family and my family have always been close, so it was natural that we were close. Early on, we took an interest in Karate which was turned up to the maximum - both of us training hard, competing every weekend and ultimately winning nationals. We celebrated our triumphs and learned from our losses, always pushing each other to reach new heights. Your friendship and camaraderie have left an indelible mark on my heart, and the memories of our shared victories will forever be cherished. As we navigated through the challenges and celebrated our successes, our spirits were intertwined, creating a legacy of perseverance, dedication, and mutual respect that will never be forgotten.

I had the privilege of being Joe's Martial arts instructor when he was a little boy. I also had the privilege of being his daughters martial arts teacher as well. I will never forget Joe's speed. He was such a talented and lightning fast kicker, such a blast to spar. His daughter was well on her way to following in dads footsteps. Even more memorable then this, i will never forget Joe's warm smile. He had a smile that was contagious and would brighten an entire room. I will forever miss our talks and conversations. I always enjoyed talking to him as we often had the same beliefs and viewpoints. I hope to see you again one day my friend up in glory. Until then....
