Obituary

MADISON - Charlotte M. Haase, age 89, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024, at Talamore Senior Living. She was born on May 5, 1934, in Madison, the daughter of Frank and Golda (Clawson) Beaudette.


Charlotte was an Eastside her whole life and proudly shared she attended Madison East High School.  She was united in marriage to Philip Haase on April 2, 1955. Charlotte worked for Oscar Mayer, Central Colony and lastly for the State of Wisconsin Hygiene Lab, retiring in 1993.


Charlotte enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading. She always had a book with her. She also enjoyed golfing, bowling and spent many hours working on family genealogy. Charlotte loved spending time at the family cabin in Wabeno, traveling and just being active and on the go.


Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Steve) Blumer; son, Lee Haase; six grandchildren, Cati (Drew) TeDuits, Carlee (fiancé, Calvin Werner) Beecher, Joseph (Kaia) Haase, Nathan (Ali) Haase, Calvin Blumer; great-grandchild, Woods Haase; sister-in-law, Marian Beaudette; and feline Companion, Boo.


She was preceded in death by husband, Philip; parents, Frank and Golda; daughter, Cheryl Beecher; grandson, Jacob Blumer; brothers, Robert (Fran) Beaudette and Leo Beaudette; and sister, Evelyn (Sylvester (Les) Frey.


Per Charlotte’s request, no services will be held.  A private family inurnment will be held at Okeeg Cemetery in Danville.


The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at UW Hospital East 4th floor, Oakwood Rehabilitation Sun Prairie, Talamore Senior Memory facility, and Agrace HospiceCare and their traveling social workers and nurses.


In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dane County Humane Society.
