My deepest condolences to Lisa and the entire Bollig family. Rick and I were friends since Kindergarten, and he was my brother-in-law for a few years, too - he was my second-favorite Bollig! ;) He was a great guy, who always made me smile. Rest in peace, Rick…you will be missed. Love, Laurie

I had the pleasure of getting to know Rick when Rhyme purchased Shadow Fax. He was a great guy and will be missed by so many. He will always be watching over all of his loved ones! God needed another angel for his flock and he got a GREAT ONE! Your Rhyme family will forever remember you and cherish all the great things you did for us and our clients. I'm glad I got the pleasure of knowing him. Lonnie McLernon

Rick, my friend, your passing is the saddest of news. To your wife and son, my condolences. I remember spending a lot of time hanging at your house, with you, and your folks, Jerry and Irma. We spent many years together during the OHS days. Great laughter, general mischievousness, and your huge smile. For a time, I'm not sure we went more than a day without hanging out or just being very cool HS kids, watching girls. And that yellow car! What some in Oregon may not know, is that Joe Johnson and I recruited you for a stint as lead singer of our local rock band, known then as "Sweet Evil". Remember practicing in the attic of my home at 233 North Main, in the attic. Remember my 80+ grandma climbing all three flights of stairs to listen in on our practice sessions. She could sing along with you to more than a few of those oh-so-teenage themed, original songs! Some bands members came and went over the years and eventually we would later morph into the 80's long-hair band and sensation, "Single File". 😂. Even after singing you remained an active part of the band family for many, many years. Rick, weren't we together, riding in the back of Bill Strena's pickup truck when we accidentally knocked over the 7' tall, 3x3 foot square brick corner post at that outdoor McDonald's play land? Oops!! Would have loved sharing a few moments with you in these later years, hearing about your life's adventures, your loved ones, and your passions. I will miss you, Rick. Our friendship will always be with me. Michael Bright

I was a a classmate of Ricky’s. More than once, in high school, Mrs. Bollig would call me in the morning and tell me Ricky forgot his school books, could I stop at their house and get them? Yes, Mrs. Bollig!! I walked past their house on the way to school! He’d meet me by the front of school and we’d laugh and laugh! Great memories! Rest easy my friend. Julie Hagen (Novara)
