Mary was a Cherokee Marsh Conservation Park volunteer guide. In her free time, Mary enjoyed reading, knitting, quilting, and traveling with friends. Above all, Mary was a loving mother and grandmother.

I spent a week during many summers at Woman's Week with Mary at Camp Black Hawk. She was lots of fun to be around, had a great smile and laugh and was always up for anything. When she was a head cook she had endless patience with us as we asked many questions. I'm sure she was welcomed into heaven by many of our WW sisters. Rest in peace, Dear Mary.
