David Arno Lange

Lois, Casey and Leah, David was one of the best neighbors someone could have, although he hated mowing the lawn. He is going to be missed. Sorry for your loss.

Dave was one of my best friends and I will miss him. For many years he and I would take our dogs, Wade and Duke, to the farm and run them for exercise, while getting our own exercise and talking about everything and anything. He invited me to his annual game feed every February and to several Badger football games. I made two trips to Iowa to hunt pheasants with him and our dogs and had many other unforgettable times with him. He was kind, intelligent, funny and passionate about everything he cared about. I admired him and will miss him and think about him often. My sincere condolences to Lois, Casey and Leah. Rest in peace, David Lange.

David was in my brother’s class and I remember seeing him for the first time during a performance of Oklahoma! that the high schoolers did for the elementary kids. I thought he was so nice and handsome! I went through my sister’s yearbooks from 1978-79 and here are some pictures to remember him by, may he rest in peace.

I was fortunate to sing with Dave in the JustUs Singers for many years where he'd give us updates on his life, mountain climbing plans, the farm work, his professional endeavors. I will remember especially his lovely personality and smile, his humbleness when we were all amazed at his many activities. My condolences to his family and friends.
