Obituary
MOUNT HOREB - Ricky G. “Rick” Hollfelder, age 64, of Mount Horeb, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, Feb. 19, 2024. He was born on Oct. 2, 1959, in Madison, the son of Kenneth and Shirley (Taylor) Hollfelder.
Rick attended Wisconsin Heights High School. He married the love of his life, Ann Schulenberg. Rick was a dairy farmer for many years which was one of his greatest passions. After he stopped milking, he worked for Field Silo in Mount Horeb for many years before becoming a patrolman in the Town of Cross Plains. During retirement, Rick greatly enjoyed spending time with Anna and Jordan, especially when they went fishing and snowmobiling. He also loved scratch-off lottery tickets.
Rick is survived by his daughter, Jen Hollfelder; two grandchildren, Jordan Hollfelder and Anna Hollfelder; mother, Shirley Hollfelder; girlfriend, Maralyn Tucker; three brothers, Gary (Carol) Hollfelder, Tim (Jackie) Hollfelder and Jeremy Hollfelder; and sister, Colleen (Rodger) Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Hollfelder; son, Justin Hollfelder; and father, Kenneth Hollfelder.
A visitation will be held at Gunderson Camacho Mount Horeb Funeral and Cremation Care, 500 N. Eighth St., Mount Horeb, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024.
