Obituary

MADISON - Ann C. Price, age 57, of Madison, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, following a year and a half battle with brain cancer. She was born on Nov. 19, 1966, in Madison, the daughter of Thomas and Sarah (Ledwidge) Groth.

Ann graduated from Monona Grove High School. She was married to Arthur Price on Aug. 20, 1994, in Madison. Ann worked as a business manager at Salon 2000 where she discovered her penchant for time management. With the birth of her second child, she decided to dedicate her time to raising her two children. As the kids got older, Ann was called on to share her phenomenal abilities and insight doing part time work as a time management consultant for Priority Management and as a business manager for Georgia’s Garden.

Ann was a fountain of wisdom and THE ONE her loved ones turned to for advice. There was nothing quite like a therapy session with Ann to help change your perspective on life. She lived life inspired by The Four Agreements: “Be impeccable with your word. Don’t take anything personally. Don’t make assumptions. Always do your best” (Don Miguel Ruiz). She was a very caring, spiritual, and gentle soul. She had a great sense of humor and a lovingly sharp tongue. Ann enjoyed painting, writing and reading. Over the years she amassed a huge home library filled with all of her favorite books. She was an aspiring green thumb. She loved spending time with their basset hound fur babies, Bubba, Lulu and Orion.

Ann is survived by her husband, Arthur; daughter, MacKenzy (Alex Drousth) Price; son, Brennan (Libby) Price; sisters, Cathy Kalina and Terri Severson; brothers, Thomas (Vickie) Groth and Dan (Sarah) Groth; mother-in-law, Sheila Price; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 26, 2024.
