MOUNT HOREB - Dawn Joy (Field) Kellesvig went to heaven on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024. She was born in Madison to Wallace and Florence (Topper) Field.

Dawn married her high school sweetheart, Paul William Kellesvig, on Aug. 28, 1965. They have three wonderful sons, Jeffrey Paul (Amy), Gregory Mark (Amy) and Steven David. They were Dawn and Paul’s pride and joy. Dawn and Paul were blessed with seven grandchildren, Brandon (Hayley) Barry, Tyler, Andy, Leah, Ellie, Sam and Eve Kellesvig. Dawn had fun babysitting and attending all of their sporting events and activities.

Dawn grew up on the Field family farm that her grandparents, then parents owned. Dawn and Paul purchased the farm from her parents and later sold a portion of it to Jeff and Amy.

In addition to her husband, children and grandchildren, Dawn is survived by her siblings, Donald (Cathie) Field, Donna (Paul) Miller; sister-in-law, Carol Connaughton Conant; and brother-in-law, David Kellesvig; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Field; foster brothers, Duane and Jim Conant; sister-in-law, Donna Field; and Paul’s parents, William and Edna Kellesvig.

Dawn was an active lifetime member of Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mount Horeb, Wis.
